Bench and picnic table from pallet wood. Handsaw, chisel, cordless battery drill-driver. Assembled with screws. The first bench (left image) was built in an hour. The second bench took a whole day to make because the pallets needed dismantling first.
The table top is made from the top of a pallet that already had slats close together, and didn't require dismantling first. The legs of the table use thicker pallet slats than the slats used for the bench. The diagonal shape makes the table very sturdy. Cross braces are also visible internally.
